  • We ask that you bring a form of ID with you to your initial consultation.
  • For your initial consultation we recommend you arrive about 5 minutes before your appointment time.
  • As we are a medical clinic, we require all patients to complete a detailed medical history form at their first appointment; this is necessary for the consultation and treatment planning process.
  • If there is a change in medical history, it is the responsibility of the patient to inform the Doctor.
  • Your personal data will be shared between Perfect Eyes Ltd. and Perfect Skin Studio. All information is treated as confidential and protected in accordance with data protection legislation.

  • Separate rates apply for second opinions, revision consultations, and follow-up appointments.

  • Booking a consultation does not guarantee that Dr Shah-Desai will take over your care.
  • For revision consultations, all documents relating to previous treatments or surgery must be submitted to enquiries@perfecteyesltd.com prior to your appointment.

5. Perfect Skin Studio, new patient appointments

  • A consultation fee applies for assessments with an associate doctor. Follow-up or review consultation fees are also applicable.

  • Full payment of the consultation fee is required at the time of booking to mitigate administration costs and missed appointments.
  • Please arrive makeup free for your appointment to allow for clinical photography.
  • New patients are seen for consultation and assessment; except in exceptional circumstances, with prior arrangement, we do not offer treatment on the first visit.

6. Age and treating young people

We do not provide botulinum toxin injections or dermal fillers for cosmetic purposes to anyone under the age of 18. This applies regardless of parental consent. It is a criminal offence in England to administer these treatments to a child for cosmetic purposes.

Where a patient appears to be under 25 we may ask for photographic identification before treatment, and we may decline to treat where age cannot be established.

Where treatment of a person under 18 is clinically indicated rather than cosmetic, it will be provided only with appropriate consent and after assessment of the young person's capacity to consent.

7. Children in the clinic

Please do not bring accompanying children to the clinic. Under the regulations of the Care Quality Commission, our regulator, we are unable to allow anyone under the age of 18 into the clinic building other than as a patient.

8. Attendance, late arrival, cancellation and missed appointments

8.1 Attending your appointment

  • You are required to attend appointments alone, unless you require the assistance of a chaperone. A chaperone is available on request for any examination or treatment, in either arm of the practice. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.
  • The building has disability facilities available, including an access ramp and toilet.
  • Should you require the assistance of an interpreter, please let us know in advance so that we can book this service for you.

8.2 Late arrival

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may not be able to carry out your appointment in the time remaining. Where that happens the appointment may need to be rebooked and may be treated as a missed appointment.

8.3 Missed appointments

  • Failure to give 48 hours' notice of non-attendance for a clinical appointment, including video consultations, will result in a charge equivalent to the consultation fee.
  • Discretion will be applied to a first missed post-operative appointment. Charges apply to any subsequent missed appointment where 48 hours' notice has not been given.

8.4 Cancelling a non-surgical treatment

Non-surgical treatment appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled without charge if at least 2 working days’ notice is given. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays. Within 48 hours, any deposit taken for that appointment may be retained. Surgery is dealt with separately under sections 14 and 15.

9. Payment

  • You will be advised of the full costs of any treatment plan proposed and agreed, including that of any maintenance treatment, before any treatment is undertaken.
  • For non-surgical treatments, payment is taken in full at the time of treatment.
  • For surgical procedures, payment terms are set out in sections 13 and 14.
  • The clinic accepts all major debit and credit cards. We do not accept cash payment.

10. Surgical fees: what is and is not included

All surgical prices published on this website are surgeon's fees. They are guide prices and are confirmed by the written quotation described in section 12.

Your treatment has two parts: the surgeon's fee, payable to Perfect Eyes Clinic, and the hospital and anaesthetist charges described in section 10.3. Both are set out separately in your written quotation so that you can see the total before you commit.

10.1 The surgeon's fee covers

  • The surgical procedure performed by your surgeon.
  • Pre-operative and post-operative clinical photography, which forms part of your confidential medical record.
  • The post-operative consultations set out in section 21.

10.2 The surgeon's fee does not cover

  • Hospital and facility charges.
  • Anaesthetist fees.
  • VAT, where payable, as set out in section 11.
  • Pre-operative blood tests, ECG, imaging or other diagnostic investigations, and any remedial treatment arising from their results.
  • Prescription medication before or after surgery, including antibiotics in the event of a post-operative infection.
  • Histology fees and specialist referrals.
  • Overnight stay, where required.
  • Optional sedation.
  • Optional post-operative products, including scar-care products.
  • Any travel, accommodation, time off work or loss of earnings for you or anyone accompanying you.
  • Any further procedures you elect to have to revise, optimise or complete your outcome, as set out in section 22.

10.3 Hospital and anaesthetist charges

Hospital charges and anaesthetist fees are independent of Perfect Eyes Clinic.

Where these are billed directly by the hospital or the anaesthetist, payment must be made to those parties directly, and any query relating to those fees must be raised with them.

Where Perfect Eyes Clinic collects these amounts on your behalf, they will be itemised separately from the surgeon's fee in your written quotation.

11. VAT

Treatments provided by Perfect Skin Studio are subject to 20% VAT and the quoted prices include VAT.

Where a procedure is undertaken for a diagnosed medical condition rather than solely for aesthetic purposes, VAT may not apply. Your VAT position will be assessed and confirmed in writing in your personalised quotation before you commit to treatment.

12. Written quotation for Surgery

A personalised written quotation is provided following your consultation. It sets out:

  • the surgeon's fee;
  • the expected hospital charges;
  • the expected anaesthetist fee;
  • any VAT payable; and
  • any optional items you have requested.

The quotation states the total cost of your treatment as a single figure as well as its component parts, so that the total is clear before you commit. Prices published on this website are guides and are confirmed by that quotation.

Where the quotation is accepted, the fees in it are held for 90 days from the date of issue.

13. Deposits and payment for surgery

  • A deposit of 10% of the quote is required to reserve a date on an operating list. Until a deposit is received we cannot guarantee that your preferred date will remain available.
  • The deposit is non-refundable once the reflection and cooling-off period described in section 14 has passed.
  • The balance is payable in full after that period has elapsed and no later than 28 days before the scheduled procedure date.
  • Failure to clear the balance in accordance with these terms may result in the procedure date being changed or cancelled, and the fees in section 15 may apply.

14. Reflection and cooling-off period

In accordance with the General Medical Council's guidance for doctors who offer cosmetic interventions, you are given a period of 14 days from your initial consultation with the operating surgeon to reflect before proceeding.

You may cancel surgery within this period without giving a reason, and any advance surgical payment will be reimbursed, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision. Reimbursement will be made using the same method of payment you used, and you will not incur a fee as a result.

In exceptional circumstances, and only where it is judged to be in your interest, this period may be shortened.

15. Rescheduling and cancellation of surgery

If you reserve a procedure date and then reschedule or cancel it, the following applies, calculated on the surgeon's fee:

Notice givenFee payable
Before the initial consultation, or more than 6 weeks before surgeryNo fee
3 to 6 weeks before the procedure date£1,000 administration fee, taken from the deposit
Within 3 weeks of the procedure date50% of the surgeon's fee
Within 2 weeks of the procedure date100% of the surgeon's fee

These fees are applied at the clinic's discretion. Your rights during the reflection and cooling-off period in section 14 are unaffected.

It is the sole decision of the operating surgeon or anaesthetist whether a procedure goes ahead. Where a procedure is postponed for medical reasons arising from information not disclosed by the patient, or because the patient has not followed pre-operative instructions, the fees above may apply.

Perfect Eyes Clinic reserves the right to postpone or cancel a procedure in the interests of patient safety and welfare. Where this happens, no expenses relating to travel, accommodation or time off work are recoverable from Perfect Eyes Clinic, for you or for anyone accompanying you.

16. Non-surgical treatments at Perfect Skin Studio

16.1 Consent and suitability

  • Every non-surgical treatment requires a consultation and written consent before it is carried out. Consent is taken for each course of treatment and is reconfirmed if your treatment plan changes.
  • Treatment is provided only where it is clinically appropriate. We may decline to treat, or recommend a different treatment, following assessment.
  • You must tell us about all medicines, supplements and previous aesthetic treatments, including any injectable treatment carried out elsewhere, and when it was carried out. Some treatments cannot safely be given close together.

16.2 Contraindications

Some treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where you have certain medical conditions, active skin infection, or known allergies. You must tell us if any of these apply to you, and if your circumstances change between consultation and treatment.

16.3 Patch testing

Where a patch test is required it must be carried out within the period we specify before treatment. If a patch test is not completed in time the treatment will be rescheduled.

16.4 Courses and packages

  • Courses are bought at a package price and are personal to you. They cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Where a course is started, it is non-refundable, as set out in section 20.
  • Courses should be completed within 12 months of purchase. After that we may ask you to be reassessed before remaining sessions are given, as your clinical needs may have changed.

17. Prescription-only medicines

Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine. It can be prescribed only by a qualified prescriber following a face-to-face assessment of you as an individual, and it cannot lawfully be advertised to the public by product name.

For this reason we cannot confirm in advance that you will be prescribed any particular medicine, and we do not offer prescription-only medicines as a promotion, a package or a prize.

18. Non-surgical aftercare, reviews and top-ups

  • Routine review appointments are offered after treatment with toxin as a courtesy. No additional treatment or top up is provided free of charge for fillers. A free top up for toxin is only offered within a review period of 2 to 4 weeks post treatment.
  • For filler treatment, one follow-up appointment within 6 months is included. Any further consultations are charged at the standard follow-up rate.
  • Aftercare instructions are provided at the time of treatment and must be followed. Failure to follow them may affect your result and may affect the aftercare we are able to offer.
  • Results from non-surgical treatments are temporary and vary between individuals. Maintenance treatment is charged separately.

19. Complications and corrective treatment

If you experience an unexpected reaction following a non-surgical treatment, contact the clinic immediately. We will arrange an urgent review where clinically necessary.

Where a complication arising from a treatment carried out at Perfect Skin Studio requires corrective treatment, including the use of a dissolving agent, that review and management is provided at no additional charge for the treatment concerned. Any prescription medication required is charged separately.

Where you ask us to assess or correct a treatment carried out elsewhere, this is a chargeable consultation and any corrective treatment is charged at the applicable rate.

20. Refunds

Fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of a treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of:

  • Consultation and assessment
  • Provision of information and advice
  • Safe treatment with evidence based products
  • Follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support as appropriate

Please note: consultations and treatments are non-refundable.

Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service (factual, honest and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands and only the best products), we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations, or you change your mind after commencing treatment of a package price treatment.

Surgical deposits and surgical fees are dealt with separately under sections 13, 14 and 15. Your right to cancel surgery during the reflection and cooling-off period is unaffected by this section.

20.1 Skincare products

Skincare products bought in clinic are non-returnable and non-refundable once opened, for reasons of hygiene.

Where products are bought online or by telephone, you have 14 days from receipt to cancel and return them unopened and unused, in accordance with your statutory rights. This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty goods.

21. Surgical aftercare

  • For blepharoplasty and brow lift surgery, the surgeon's fee includes 3 post-operative consultations, usually spaced at one week and then over 3-6 months. These may be in person or virtual, and their precise timing may vary according to clinical need.
  • For other surgical procedures, the surgeon's fee includes two post-operative consultations at approximately one week and 3-4 months.
  • Any additional consultations are charged at the standard follow-up rate.
  • You must attend the post-operative appointments arranged for you and follow the advice given. Failure to attend two consecutively scheduled post-operative appointments will end our obligation to offer further appointments under this section.
  • Results may take up to twelve months to settle, and a final outcome cannot be assessed before then.
  • If you move away, you will be expected to travel to see your operating surgeon. Travel costs are not covered.

22. Revision surgery

Where revision surgery is undertaken, the surgeon's fee, anaesthetist fee and hospital charges for that procedure are payable by the patient unless otherwise agreed in writing.

It may be necessary to perform additional surgery to improve or complete a result. Additional procedures may also be needed to correct residual problems or to address complications.

23. Results and expectations

Although good results are expected, no guarantee or warranty is given, expressed or implied, as to the results that may be obtained. This applies to all surgical treatments and to non-surgical treatments including laser, microneedling and injectable treatments.

Recognised risks include asymmetry, unsatisfactory scarring, visible deformity, loss of function, poor healing, wound disruption, nerve injury and loss of sensation. These will be discussed with you before you consent to treatment.

24. Confidentiality and data protection

Perfect Eyes Ltd. and Perfect Skin Studio Limited are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZA280470 and ZB599715, respectively and comply with UK data protection law.

Clinical records are generally retained for 9 years, as set out in our privacy notice at perfecteyesltd.com/privacy-notice.

25. Complaints

If you have cause for complaint, please email manager@perfecteyesltd.com or write to the Manager, Perfect Eyes Clinic, 121 Harley Street, London W1G 6AX.

Please read it before making a complaint.

26. International patients

If you travel to the United Kingdom for treatment, you must allow enough time to attend your consultation, your procedure and your planned post-operative appointments before travelling home. Your surgeon will advise when it is safe for you to fly.

We cannot arrange or be responsible for aftercare provided outside the United Kingdom. Where you return home before your post-operative appointments are complete, remaining reviews may be carried out virtually at our discretion, and any care you need locally is your responsibility and at your cost.

Travel, accommodation and insurance are your responsibility. We strongly recommend insurance that covers medical treatment abroad and the cost of an extended stay if your recovery requires it.

27. General

27.1 Force majeure

Perfect Eyes Ltd. is not liable for any delay or failure to perform an obligation under these terms caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances may include acts of nature, utilities failure, equipment malfunction, and the unavailability of a surgeon, anaesthetist or hospital facility.

27.2 Transfer of business

If Perfect Eyes Ltd. and Perfect Skin Studio merge with another business, or transfers all or substantially all of its business to another entity, you agree that it may transfer the performance of its services and the benefits and obligations under these terms to that entity on substantially the same terms.
