How Does UltraClear Laser
Treatment Work?
UltraClear skin laser resurfacing functions by evaporating damaged tissue and promoting the production of collagen. The 2910nm wavelength technology makes it appropriate for all skin types because it enables precise control over the targeted tissue, preventing heat buildup with a fast and thin LASER light beam. This technology offers an advantage over traditional LASER treatments by reducing pain, discomfort, downtime, recovery time, and the risk of serious skin injury. This makes the skin get better and builds new skin cells. It also makes more collagen and elastin. This makes the skin smoother, healthier, and younger.

What is the downtime for UltraClear laser treatment?
When you leave the clinic, your skin may look a little pink, but you can put makeup on right after. After a few days, your skin will start to peel, so you’ll see some early results soon. Sometimes, a few people will have a thin scab on their skin that might take about a week to come off, but you can cover it with makeup. For the best results, it’s recommended to have 3 to 6 treatments, each about 3 to 4 weeks apart.
How long does it take to recover from UltraClear laser treatment compared to CO2 laser?
Those who undergo UltraClear laser treatment can be back in makeup in 4-7 days, whereas it takes 7-14 days to recover from CO2 laser treatment.
When will I see results after CLEAR/ULTRACLEAR fractional ablative treatments?
You might notice changes 4-5 days after just 1 treatment. However, depending on the type of pigmentation, scars, and lines, additional treatments might be needed. We generally suggest two treatments spaced 2 months apart.
What are the side effects and recovery time of UltraClear laser treatment?
You might experience redness, heat, and swelling, and then your skin will start to flake for the first 1-3 days. You might also have some pinpoint bleeding and oozing during this time. The recovery time can be 4-7 days but it depends on how your body heals. The downtime is related to the intensity and depth of the laser treatment, and we’ll give you instructions for aftercare.
How long will the effects of UltraClear laser treatment last?
After just one UltraClear laser treatment, you may start to see improvements in your skin in as little as two days. The effects of a less intense treatment can last a few months, and you may need a touch-up session. With deeper treatments, the results can last from 1 to 5 years.
Is the treatment painful?
We use a new type of fractional laser that is designed to be more comfortable & safe for all skin tones. It reduces unwanted thermal damage. The laser settings and depth are chosen based on the patient’s skin quality.
Will UltraClear cause dark spots to appear on my skin?
UltraClear reduces the risk of dark spots appearing after the treatment, which can be more common for people with darker skin. The innovative technology used in UltraClear minimises any unwanted skin damage & produces great results for all skin types. This also helps reduce pain & recovery time.
Do I need to treat my skin before or after the laser treatment?
We use strong laser treatments, so we want to make sure you don’t develop skin discolouration, especially if you have darker skin. We recommend using special skincare products that help prevent skin discolouration for 2-4 weeks before and 3 weeks after the treatment. Our team will give you personalised recommendations after examining your skin using the CANFIELD VISIA.
To reduce any discomfort, we apply numbing cream to your skin about 45 minutes before the treatment. After the treatment, your skin may feel hot and uncomfortable for the first 4-8 hours.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies for each person. You may see better skin after 4-5 days. For a more intense treatment, the results could last 1-5 years. However, since our skin continues to age and new wrinkles and spots may appear due to sun damage and daily life, you may need more treatments to keep your skin looking healthy, fresh, and young.
