What care is necessary afterwards?
After getting the treatment, it’s important to leave the scab alone for 4-5 days. Avoid applying any occlusive ointment right after the treatment. When your skin is healing, avoid sun exposure as much as possible and use sunscreen to avoid discolouration. Using an additional pillow while sleeping can help minimise puffiness. When washing your skin, use only your hands and water, not any clothes or gloves. After the scab falls off within 3 to 7 days, the skin will look pink until it’s fully healed. Your doctor will recommend a specific aftercare for this stage. They will give you more detailed information about the aftercare.
