Polynucleotides For Under Eye Rejuvenation

What Are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are fragments of Fish DNA in a saline injectable gel, that aims to help repair tissue by stimulating fibroblasts, encouraging cell turnover, improving elasticity, boosting collagen production & hydration of the skin. For those who are susceptible to swelling post conventional dermal fillers or are scared of complications associated with dermal fillers and have very thin under eye skin are ideal candidates. Polynucleotides enhance the skin’s quality by encouraging the body’s natural regenerative processes.

When Polynucleotide’s are injected into the skin, they stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which help to improve the texture and elasticity of the skin. Polynucleotides also enhance the skin’s natural ability to retain moisture, resulting in a more hydrated and youthful appearance.

Treatment Areas

Treatment areas include under eyes, face, neck, décolletage.
Polynucleotides are ideal for hollow eyes due to thin skin, dehydrated skin, lateral canthal lines/smile lines, and for those who want to firm and contour with more natural looking definition.

What should I expect?

First, we take your photo, in order to give you a comparison for before and after your treatment. The team then applies a topical anaesthetic and leaves it to numb your eyelid skin for 10-20minutes.
The treatment usually takes less than 15 minutes and you can usually see an initial result immediately, however the treatment may cause swelling and bruising.
If you have a pigment problem with your under-eyes as well as a tear trough deficiency you will need a bespoke skincare regime to reduce this pigmentation too.

Do polynucleotide fillers hurt?

We apply a topical anaesthesia under the eyes for 10-20 minutes before your treatment, meaning that the injections are virtually painless.

Side effects and downtime?

Very little downtime is to be expected, with mild swelling & possibly mild bruising which can be easily concealed with make-up. Our philosophy is natural -looking results and this treatment is undetectable once any swelling or bruising has settled down.
