Training
Global Training and Experience
Dr. Sabrina Shah-Desai received her training at the esteemed Sir JJ Group of Hospitals at Bombay University, graduating in 1994, before travelling to the UK to complete four sub-speciality fellowships.
She completed her fellowship in Cornea and Oculoplastics at The Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead from 1996 to 1997. During this time, she gained extensive expertise in managing periocular trauma, chemical burns, and ocular surface disease. She also completed a joint oculoplastic fellowship at the Salisbury and Southampton Eye Units in 1998.
She undertook an Adnexal fellowship at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital from 2000–2001 and a final secondment fellowship at the multidisciplinary craniofacial unit at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (2009), where she specialised in plastic surgery techniques relating to the eye and the face.
